From September 5, 2026, DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam will present a comprehensive retrospective devoted to the artistic work of Annemirl Bauer (b. 1939 in Jena, d. 1989 in East Berlin). With this exhibition, Annemirl Bauer is presented as a critical and independent voice from the GDR—an artist who has long been overlooked by art history.

The exhibition is curated by Marie Gerbaulet with curatorial assistant Luisa Bachmann, in close collaboration with Amrei Bauer, estate administrator and founder-director of the Annemirl Bauer Haus in&nbsp;Brandenburg.

DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam zeigt ab dem 5. September 2026 eine umfassende Retrospektive, die sich dem künstlerischen Schaffen von Annemirl Bauer (geb. 1939 in Jena, gest. 1989 in Ost-Berlin) widmet. Mit Annemirl Bauer wird eine kritische und unabhängige Stimme aus der DDR und eine Künstlerin präsentiert, der die kunsthistorische Wahrnehmung lange verwehrt blieb.

Die Ausstellung wird kuratiert von Marie Gerbaulet mit Luisa Bachmann als kuratorischer Assistentin. Sie entsteht in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Amrei Bauer, Nachlassverwalterin sowie Gründerin und Leiterin des Annemirl Bauer Hauses in&nbsp;Brandenburg.
