Wilder Alison’s open towel edition was developed in the context of the exhibition Soft Power curated by Daniel Milnes and allows their art and working practice to enter into everyday rituals: Being wrapped in it after a bath or shower, using it as a blanket, or packing it for the next beach vacation. With the towels, Alison echoes the formal language of their wool paintings and reflects upon the process of their making.

Die offene Handtuch Edition von Wilder Alison wurde im Rahmen der Ausstellung Soft Power (kuratiert von Daniel Milnes) entwickelt. Sie integriert Alisons Kunst und Arbeitspraxis in alltägliche Rituale: Sich nach dem Baden oder Duschen in das Handtuch einwickeln, es als Decke benutzen oder für den nächsten Strandurlaub einpacken. Die Handtücher greifen die Formensprache von Alisons Wollbildern auf und reflektieren deren Herstellungsprozess.&nbsp;

Painting: simplified plant shapes resembling leaves and stems can be seen. Light and very dark shades of green and some blue determine the color scheme. 

Gemälde: vereinfachte Pflanzenformen, die Blättern und Stielen ähneln, sind zu sehen. Helle und sehr dunkle Grüntöne sowie etwas Blau bestimmen die Farbigkeit.
