Bus tours
Bus stops are provided in front of the site on Max-Planck-Strasse.
Orientation at the main train station
Upon arrival at the main train station, you can use the exit signs in the reception hall to find your way to MINSK. Take the exit labeled "Friedrich- Engels-Straße, Reise Zentrum" towards bus / tram / taxi and then take the escalator down to the exit (or take the elevator or stairs).
From the main train station to DAS MINSK
Once you reach the exit, turn left and follow the sidewalk past the tram stops until you reach the traffic light that leads left over the tracks. From here, you can already see DAS MINSK on the hill. Behind the MINSK you can see the the tower of the parliament.
Cross two traffic lights (one for the tram, one for the bus lane) and then go straight to the next traffic light. Cross Heinrich-Mann-Allee, turn right to cross the next (and last) two traffic lights via the main road (Brauhausberg). Once you have crossed the main road (Brauhausberg), turn left and take the next staircase on the right.
You are now in front of the entrance of the swimming pool blu. Turn left and walk straight past the lawn and the fountains.
From the Museum Barberini to DAS MINSK
DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam is a 15-minute walk from the Museum Barberini.
Heading towards Potsdam‘s main train station, crossing the Lange Brücke on the right hand side, DAS MINSK becomes visible from afar, on the hill. The route leads past the train station and the new swimming pool blu, between lawns and fountains, towards DAS MINSK.
Entrances to DAS MINSK
The main entrance of the building is most easily to reach via the staircase on the left side. The ramp for wheelchair users and strollers is located a little further up on the left side of the house (on the road Brauhausberg). So please walk the ramp, which is on the right side of of the pedestrian path. The main entrance is then located diagonally behind the Wolfgang Mattheuer sculpture on the terrace if you use the stairs, or diagonally left across the terrace if you use the ramp.
Alternatively, you can take the staircase on the right to reach the café one floor higher, which is also accessible independently of the exhibition visit. The café is also accessible via the foyer of the building by stairs or elevator.
If you need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our visitor service (+49 331 236014-699 / besucherservice@dasminsk.de).
