DAS MINSK invites you to a conversation in the exhibition with Amanda Carneiro, curator at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) in Brazil, and co-curators Daniel Milnes and Anna Schneider. In a guided tour, the three curators will offer insights into Oscar Murillo’s work from different perspectives.
Amanda Carneiro will bring her experience from collaborating with the artist Oscar Murillo in South America. She was involved in planning his internationally conceived Social Mapping project, which culminated in a collective painting action at the 36th São Paulo Biennale in 2025. She will also discuss the reception of Claude Monet’s works in Brazil and refer to the exhibition Monet’s Ecology at MASP, which brought together 32 works by the French Impressionist—most of which were presented for the first time to audiences in South America.
Together, the three curators will explore the central works and the making of the exhibition from their different curatorial perspectives.
