November 1, 2025, 4–6 PM (episodes 1-4)
November 2, 2025, 4–5:30 PM (episodes 5-7)

As part of the Wohnkomplex exhibition, DAS MINSK will be showing the seven-part children's series Spuk im Hochhaus by Günter Meyer and C.U. Wiesner, which was first broadcast on GDR television in 1982, on Halloween weekend.

The story is set in the heart of East Berlin: where the criminal innkeepers August and Jette Deibelschmidt once robbed their guests of their money, there is now a prefabricated building. Cursed, the two reappear in that very high-rise building two centuries after their death—and must perform seven good deeds to atone for their old crimes. Their appearance causes quite a stir among the building's residents – not least because they can walk through walls.

Spuk im Hochhaus enjoyed great popularity and is now considered one of the classic television shows of the GDR. In addition to its entertaining storyline, it provides historical insight into everyday life in a high-rise apartment block in the GDR.

For children aged 6 and above.
The event is free of charge. Each episode lasts 30 minutes. Please secure a free time slot ticket for a seat per episode.
