How does architecture influence our living environment, our thoughts, and our actions? How do we relate to the design of our surroundings? And how do architecture and design shape our immediate impression of comfort and safety? To what extent are they also sources of inspiration?
In search of answers to these questions, the workshop will delve into multifaceted topics related to the perception and impact of architecture. Under the guidance of art historian and systemic coach Sarah Maupeu, we will first explore MINSK’s architecture together. We will examine spatial situations and analyze their sensory, emotional, and memory-related effects.
Afterward, a tour of the exhibition Wohnkomplex will enrich the discussion with selected works of art. The tour addresses questions such as: What do the works say about the architecture of prefabricated buildings? Which perspectives and intentions are conveyed through these works?
The workshop concludes with a creative session, where participants will have the opportunity to express themselves artistically and respond to the question: “How do we want to live—in reality or in utopia?”
