Guided Tours and Workshops for School Classes

Grade level 1-2

On request

Specially developed for school classes, the workshops invite students not only to view works of art, but also to develop new approaches to art and culture through creative activities and joint reflection. The acts of perceiving, creating, and reflecting form the foundation of all the workshops, which intend to accompany the students in their aesthetic and artistic education process.

Experienced art educators guide them through the exhibition, which is individually tailored to the age and curriculum of each group. Afterwards, practical design phases and discussion rounds offer the opportunity to deepen what they have seen and contribute their own perspectives.

The formats are flexible and can be adapted to suit the needs of the class and the subjects being taught.

Individual agreements on topics, methods, and areas of focus can be tailored to suit specific needs.

For school classes DAS MINSK opens at 9 AM on weekdays (except Tuesdays)!

Leave Traces, Doodling, Drawing

On a tour of the current exhibition, students will discover and experience how artists have left their mark through their works. Students are encouraged to take a closer look: What is depicted? How are the lines, shapes, and colors chosen? What stories do the artworks tell?

In the subsequent workshop, students will create their own works of art using a selection of chalk and pencils to playfully try out different techniques. The students are invited to explore a range of materials: How does it feel to draw with a hard pencil? How does a soft pencil change the picture?

At the end of the workshop, the class will reflect on their work together through sharing their experiences and discovering how the choice of materials and techniques has shaped their artwork.

Photo: Pens, cards and books on the subject of exhibition design are placed on a table. The materials invite guests to plan an exhibition.
