7–9 pm
Max Harder & Mama Lior (DJ-Set)
From 9 pm
Robert Lippok (live)
DAS MINSK’s new event format MINSKBAR will take place three times over the course of the summer exhibition. On one Thursday each month, DAS MINSK and the bar will be open longer in the evening. There will then be an opportunity to speak with mediators in the exhibition and to linger over music in Café HEDWIG and on the MINSK’s terraces.
The music program of MINSKBAR is curated by the musician and artist Robert Lippok. A DJ set will ring in the evening from 7 to 9 pm, and starting at 9 pm Robert Lippok will play his Experimental Electronic live set.
Robert Lippok has always been ahead of the times. As the central figure of the GDR underground and a member of the groups Ornament und Verbrechen and To Rococo Rot, he has shaped the local scene again and again. This also applies to his extensive solo work. On his last album Applied Autonomy, Lippok condensed and layered club music sketches into complex sound sculptures.
Lippok has also been relied upon as a spontaneous and inventive live music and audiovisual performer. That includes appearances at festivals like MUTEK, Unsound, L.E.V, GAMMA , at Berghain and Funkhaus Berlin, work with the 4DSOUND spatial audio system, collaborations with Doug Aitken at Serpentine Gallery London, choreographer Constanza Macras at Akademie der Künste Berlin, German architect Arno Brandlhuber at NBK Berlin.
He extends his solo practice into workshops and teaching that open up his multidisciplinary approach to design and sound, incorporating architecture and field audio materials, including recent projects in Guatemala and at Vancouver’s Polygon Gallery, and in his performance and production class at NYU Berlin, “Experiments in the Future of Production and Performance”

As a creative, Mama Lior has also found her voice through DJing. With a love for Electro, Booty Bass and everything that’s bouncy and bass-heavy, she skillfully navigated Femme Bass Mafia’s mentoring program and graduated as part of the first generation of mentees.
Grown up in Frankfurt and now based in Berlin, Lior has been shaking crowds at Tresor for their 31st anniversary celebrations or during Einhundert’s HVW8’s takeover, but her versatility is also reflected on Refuge Worldwide’s airwaves, where she explores inspirations taken from Funk & Soul records she dug in Japan as well as the Chanson CDs from the family car stereo.
Growing up on the streets of Berlin, Max Harder has been immersed in the city's vibrant music scene from a young age. Starting with piano and drum lessons, Max soon discovered his true passion for turntables and began collecting an eclectic mix of music. With his extensive record collection, Max knows just how to get the party started, set the mood in a bar, or take you on a mesmerizing journey with his HÖR sets and radio show, "The Maxperience".
