<p>As part of MINSKDAY, the tour provides an overview of the building's history in Russian.</p>

<p>This tour deals with the history of the building. Built in the 1970s in the modernist style of the GDR, the former terrace restaurant is a place laden with different memories. After its closure in 2000, vacancy and decline followed until 2018 when a debate about the fate of the building flared up again, ultimately leading to its reopening as an exhibition space.&nbsp;The tour offers insight into the creation of the restaurant, the time of the vacancy, the transformation into an exhibition space, and the interior design, as well as interventions and artworks in and around the building.</p>

<p>В рамках MINSKDAY состоится экскурсия на русском языке, посвященная истории здания DAS MINSK.</p>

<p>На этой обзорной экскурсии речь пойдет об истории нашего здания. В 1970-е годы здесь находился ресторан с террасой в характерном для ГДР стиле модернизма. В 2000 году ресторан закрылся, а здание оказалось заброшено. Лишь в 2018 году дебаты о его дальнейшей судьбе увенчались решением о восстановлении в формате музея. На экскурсии можно будет узнать об истории ресторана «Минск», о периоде простоя и заброшенности здания, о его реконструкции, а также об интерьере, художественных интервенциях и произведениях искусства на территории музея.</p>

<p>Примечание: Экскурсии на русском языке, посвященные истории здания, проходят каждое последнее воскресенье месяца.</p>
